Nero Platform

Turning fragmentedvessel data intostructured evidence

One platform takes in licensed AIS, partner data and your own sensors, tells vessels from fishing gear, works out who each vessel really is, scores what it does, and keeps a record another expert can check. Every solution runs on it.

  1. 1The open Warning sits at the top of the queue.
  2. 2Open it. The vessel is selected on the map.
  3. 3Every point has a reason. Flag and nationality score nothing.
  4. 4Forty points reach Warning. The thresholds are fixed and published.
  5. 5Acknowledge it. The time is logged; the level does not change.
  1. 1Search in any script.
  2. 2A Simplified spelling finds the vessel recorded in Traditional.
  3. 3One hull, one history, with the evidence for every link.
  4. 4A link the data cannot settle waits for a person.
  5. 5Confirm it, and the decision is logged too.
  1. 1Replay the evening on one clock.
  2. 2It slowed at 21:10 and anchored inside the zone at 21:22.
  3. 3Every alert carries its own evidence file.
  4. 4Source files, their hashes, and the code and configuration behind the result.
  5. 5Export a package another expert can re-run and get the same answer.

Architecture

Four layers under every solution

Data is sealed the moment it arrives, and every layer after it keeps the source and license tags. Losing a source shrinks coverage; nothing else stops.

  • 0.1Sources

Each source enters through its own connector, with a license tag.

  • 0.2Evidence

Raw messages are written as received, sealed with hashes and chained.

  • 0.3Intelligence

Vessels told from gear, identities resolved, behavior scored with a reason for every point.

  • 0.4Outputs

Alerts, reports and evidence packages, sent only where the license allows.

The vessel record

Every vessel is a record you can trace

Names, identifiers, episodes, alerts and evidence all hang off one hull. Every link says where it came from, and an uncertain one waits for a person.

Your data

Runs on the data you already hold

Each source comes in through its own connector with a license tag, and the license decides where each output may go. Data you provide serves only your organization, and partner data will be stored and processed in Taiwan.

  • The license tag travels with every record, into every report
  • External AI services only ever see names and identifiers
  • When one source pauses, the rest carry on

Capabilities

Nine capabilities, shared by every solution

  • Data connectors

One connector per source, each with a license tag.

  • Evidence chain

Sealed on receipt; results re-run from the original files.

  • Classification

A gear beacon never raises a vessel alert.

  • Vessel identity

Traditional, Simplified and romanized names, one history.

  • Behavior detection

Scored on behavior, never flag or nationality.

  • Explainable alerts

A reason for every point; every acknowledgement logged.

  • Zones and rules

Cables, wind farms, anchorages and your own areas.

  • Replay and reports

Replays on one clock; reports in English and Chinese.

  • Nero Analyst In development

Ask the record in English or Chinese; every answer cites it.

Known limits

What the platform depends on

Approach & Limits
  • Coverage is only as complete as the sources connected. Every output states the areas it cannot see.
  • Partner data is used only as each agreement allows. It serves only that partner unless agreed otherwise.
  • Only vessel names and identifiers ever reach external AI services. Positions and tracks from partner data never do.
  • Performance figures wait for independent testing. Until then, we publish the method.

Common questions

Can it run on our data alone?
Yes. Nero is designed to work on whatever sources you connect; licensed and partner feeds are optional.
Does it need its own sensors?
No. Nero does not operate sensors; it adds intelligence to the data you and your partners already hold.
Are the vessels and data on this page real?
No. The map is the real Taiwan coast, but the vessels, tracks, names and IDs come from Nero's synthetic generator, and the cable is illustrative.
Become a pilot partner

We are seeking a small number of cable and offshore wind operators as partners for the first pilot deployments. Inquiries in English or Chinese.
